Background:
I am a graduate of Oley Valley High School and always knew I wanted to be a nurse, but never thought I wanted to work anywhere other than in a hospital setting until I fell in love with school nursing. I began my career as a 1989 graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Nursing and spent sixteen years at Tower Health in West Reading, working in both the Intensive Care Unit and the Emergency Room while maintaining ACLS and PALS certification. That background in acute and emergency care continues to shape how I approach student health every day. The best part of working here at RMCTC – THE STUDENTS – they bring something different to every day!
