I’ve been working in the automotive field for over 15 years and have spent the last 8 years teaching what I love. My journey started in tech school, which turned out to be one of the best choices I ever made. I not only learned valuable hands-on skills but also how to carry myself as a professional. That experience gave me the motivation to help others find their path in this trade, just like I did.
Before teaching, I worked in the industry and eventually became a team leader at a dealership, where I found I really enjoyed training new technicians. That experience led me to teaching full-time. I spent two years instructing at UTI before joining RMCTC, where I’m proud to teach high school students and help them build the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
I hold 16 ASE certifications, including advanced credentials in engine performance and diesel engines. My repair experience ranges from basic service work to full engine, transmission, and frame replacements. When I’m not in the shop or classroom, I enjoy riding motorcycles and spending time with my family.
